Jamie is an LA-based actor, voice artist, and musician best known for their recurring role on Oprah Winfrey Network's David Makes Man (S2) and as an inaugural cast member of the 2022 Warner Bros. Discovery Access Talent Spotlight.


Raised in South Carolina, Jamie spent most evenings on stage performing live music as part of the family business. The Brown Family frequently traveled the country dancing, singing, and playing for audiences large and small. Beginning their young life in the entertainment industry led Jamie to school and community theater, where they went on to star in many productions and local commercials. They continued honing their multidisciplinary crafts throughout high school, culminating in their induction into The International Thespian Society in 2018. After graduating from high school Junior year, Jamie went on to attend Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation in 2020. 


Fresh from university, Jamie made his Television debut as ASHOK on David Makes Man (S2) from Academy Award-Winning Tarell Alvin McCraney. Now an established voice artist, Jamie has narrated over a dozen titles such as queer YA novels The Passing Playbook by Isaac Fitzsimons and Ryan & Avery by David Levithan with Penguin Random House Audio. He's also amassed over 150k+ followers and 5 million likes on TikTok as "Ollie" (@oxenfreeollie) a young transman sharing his journey through family and queerdom. Most recently, wrapping as a series regular on his first pilot! A lovely "zillennial" coming-of-age comedy surrounding a Portland-based pole dancing studio.
